About The Position

Universal Pure is seeking Production Team Members/Associates for various shifts in their HPP Production area. This role is within the food manufacturing industry, focusing on production, warehouse, and manufacturing tasks. The company provides high-pressure processing (HPP), value-added services, and cold storage for food industry partners, emphasizing safety and service.

Requirements

• Ability to perform basic mental math
• Ability to communicate in English (Speak, read, and write)
• Ability to maintain productivity, quality, and safety expectations, at all times.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively work with others and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a cold/wet environment
• Ability to lift 10-35 lbs. repetitively and up to 45 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to push/pull up to 500 lbs. on rollers occasionally
• Ability to stand for 8–12-hour shifts.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma/GED
• Refrigeration, warehouse, production or manufacturing experience
• MHE/Forklift experience

Responsibilities

• Packing and unpacking product
• Loading and unloading carriers for the HPP machine
• Stacking and building pallets
• Labeling and code dating product
• Sorting product on the line to remove off-spec product to a rework or disposal container
• Cleaning and Sanitizing parts of the line during certain product changeovers
• Other Sanitation duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned
• Rotating off the line to another line or assignment if a Machine goes down for necessary maintenance or other reason.
