About The Position

This position provides hands-on training, supervision, and leadership for the assembly, inspection, and test of magnetic bearings and related products. The role involves guiding and supporting production technicians, assigning tasks, and ensuring adherence to procedures and schedules. It also includes monitoring daily activities, tracking output, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions to meet production goals. The Production Team Lead is responsible for directing daily production flow, ensuring materials are stocked, coordinating equipment needs, and assisting with staffing/scheduling. Compliance with safety and quality policies and procedures is essential, including maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly workplace and serving as a quality liaison. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a light industrial setting.
  • Experience in a leadership position in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Leadership and communication skills.
  • Problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Technical / manufacturing knowledge.
  • Time management and organization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance, training and support for production technicians, assign tasks and ensure adherence to procedures and schedules.
  • Monitor daily activities, track output, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to meet goals.
  • Provide production communications and data as required.
  • Direct daily production flow.
  • Ensure materials are stocked, coordinate equipment needs and assist with staffing/scheduling.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with the safety policy, procedures, and instructions in order to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with the quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals, and environmental well-being.
  • Serve as quality liaison.
