Production Team Lead - 2nd Shift
About The Position
The Production Team Lead is responsible for leading and overseeing production team members during assigned shifts. This role ensures that production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards. The lead will assign tasks, monitor workflow, and adjust staffing as needed. They will also train, coach, and support employees on equipment, processes, and procedures, and enforce safety rules and company policies consistently. Additionally, the lead will conduct station audits for matching quantities, communicate production goals, issues, and results to supervisors and managers, and assist with troubleshooting equipment or process issues. This role also supports continuous improvement, 5S, and lean initiatives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in a lead, senior operator, or supervisory role
- Knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control
- Strong Leadership and team coordination skills
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Basic computer skills for reporting and tracking production data
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to lift, push, maneuver 50 lbs. as required
- Comfortable working in warehouse environments (may include varying temperatures)
- Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed
