About The Position

As a member of the Production/Warehouse team, the Team Lead has a critical role and is responsible for problem solving issues and supporting our Operations team members to remove roadblocks and solve problems to ensure operational success through attaining KPIs in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.

Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills
Great attention to detail and organization skills
Computer literate with knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office
HS Diploma or GED and/or 2-3 years’ experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting
Flexibility to work varying shifts in support of the operation
Thrives on solving problems in both traditional and creative ways

Nice To Haves

Knowledge in SAP a plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

Provide a safe, healthy, and welcoming working environment in a Lean culture for all team members
Communicate with team members to resolve issues to attain daily productivity, quality, and delivery goals
Partner with department Coach to identify training gaps and develop action plan per team member
Be a champion of the department’s SOPs
Partner to find the most efficient process and suggest improvements where needed/identified; encourages team members to provide suggestions
Identify and resolve small conflicts within department; work closely with Supervisor/Manager to resolve larger conflicts.
Tactically understands department metrics and what impacts them; able to make recommendations on labor shifting, when business dictates
