You will be responsible for heavy‑gauge electrical wiring, plumbing routing, and general product assembly in a manufacturing environment. Support production by building shipping crates, preparing manufacturing orders, and performing pre‑shipment tasks such as cleaning, surface restoration, and electrical panel layout. Work with Testers to complete rework, evaluate returned products for service needs, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams. You will report to the Production Supervisor and work onsite in Mequon, WI. This position is 2nd shift M-F, 2:00PM – 10:00PM.

Requirements

  • A minimum of High School Diploma/GED OR 4 years of verified related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Read, follow, and execute tasks per sequence defined by electronic or hardcopy drawings and work instructions.
  • Follow standardized methods of work to accomplish an established set of assembly tasks.
  • Assemble components and sub-assemblies in an assembly line fashion per specific defined process and in defined time frame.
  • Use tools including Component Lead Cutters and Crimpers, Forming and Insertion Press Fixtures, Wire Strippers, Wire Luggers, Hand Tools, Fully Automated Test Systems, Torque Drivers, Lifting Fixtures, Stud Welder, Green Lee Punch, Heavy Wire Lugging, DIN Rail Cutter, Band Saw, Custom Lifting Fixtures, and Hoist & Crane.
  • Comfortable working from elevated surfaces.
  • Read and interpret engineering assembly drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Work from established product bill of materials, wiring schematics, and layout drawings of products currently manufactured and previously manufactured products from a variety of Manufacturing Operations facilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise within SAP, FTPC, Optel, GPM, and other manufacturing software / systems.
  • Comfortable using computer technology to perform work assignments.
