About The Position

Folder Works, a division of Taylor Corporation, is hiring a Production Team Lead for its facility in North Mankato, Minnesota. The role guides production-floor personnel, coordinates daily work, assigns production priorities, and helps ensure production and quality goals are met. The team lead is expected to learn the equipment and be able to assist operators or run a machine when needed. The position is on second shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Requirements

Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Be able to read, write, and communicate clearly to ensure accuracy and understanding of each job ticket.
Be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Regularly remain in a stationary position.
Operate machinery and handle products, including print materials.
Frequently move inside the facility.
Regularly move 25 or more pounds by lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance and direction to production-floor personnel.
Coordinate daily production-floor activities and delegate assignments based on work volume.
Learn all equipment to understand how to assist operators and run a machine if needed.
Establish run priorities for operators, assemblers, and packagers based on customer requirements.
Manage all aspects of daily work-in-process (WIP) reports.
Establish daily, monthly, and annual goals for team members to help ensure production goals are met.
Confirm routine quality checks, including process startup and control.
Check print, cutting, finishing, and packaging quality.
