About The Position

Warren Oil is hiring a Production Team Lead for its manufacturing facility in West Memphis. The role operates and trains employees on manual and automated production equipment, verifies components and production settings, and helps ensure production runs meet specifications and quality standards. The lead also supports work-order closeout, line cleaning and organization, safety walks, and communication about production performance and issues.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
1–3 years of operator experience.
Prior production or manufacturing machine-operation experience.
Experience in a high-speed industrial environment.
Ability to operate manufacturing equipment.
Basic computer, math, and reading-comprehension skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.

Responsibilities

Operate and train others on various manual and automated production equipment.
Verify components and check process-line settings against targets each day.
Set up machinery and ensure the correct production materials are available according to product specifications.
Maintain process-line flush verification, approval, and reporting.
Perform required quality-control checks on assigned lines, including visual verification of finished product.
Hold weekly meetings with the QC team to address issues.
Initially close out work orders and components, and clear lines between production runs.
Visually inspect production runs and document results, including first-case checks.
Identify and report malfunctions to the appropriate parties.
Keep equipment and the assigned area clean and verify housekeeping and organizational standards.
Audit the condition and supply levels of cleaning tools.
Update process run-time communication boards.
Analyze process-line closeout against run-time standards.
Conduct weekly safety walks of assigned process areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
