About The Position

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Team Lead who is responsible for overseeing a team of employees, ensuring that team goals are met while fostering a positive and productive work environment. This role includes coordinating daily activities, providing support and guidance, and facilitating communication between team members and management. Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Requirements

  • May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to changing situations, and inspire others.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in manufacturing.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
  • Frequently required to move inside the facility
  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

Responsibilities

  • Practice the Taylor Core Values
  • Inform the Supervisor of jobs in jeopardy of missing a due date.
  • Guide and motivate team members to achieve their objectives and maintain high performance.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between team members and upper management, facilitating clear and effective communication.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to enhance skills and productivity.
  • Oversee team projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
  • Identify training needs and support the professional growth of team members.
  • Address any issues or conflicts within the team, providing solutions and support as needed.
  • Prepare and present team performance reports to management.
  • Address daily employee questions and give guidance.
  • Perform assigned operational duties to the standards.
