About The Position

The Production Support team member helps keep production operations running efficiently by ensuring materials, equipment, and inventory are available when needed. The role supports production teams, maintains workflow, and contributes to a safe, organized manufacturing environment. It requires operating a tugger and may involve extended shifts and travel to other operating locations for days or weeks, as business needs require.

The position is suited to dependable, team-oriented individuals who communicate clearly, take initiative, follow safety procedures, and are committed to quality work and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Ability to work safely and efficiently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.

• Ability to perform physical manual labor, remain on feet for extended periods, climb stairs, and position oneself to work in and around confined spaces.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators, when working around chemicals, fumes, or similar environmental conditions.
• Ability to maintain fitness for duty, work extended shifts when needed, and travel to support operations at various locations for days or weeks as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Receiving experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials, parts, and supplies to and from the production line to maintain continuous workflow.
• Stack and unstack materials safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks while following established safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through routine housekeeping.
• Respond promptly to radio calls and operational requests.
• Monitor and manage fixture inventory to support production needs.
• Help prevent production downtime by ensuring materials are available when needed.
• Work collaboratively with teammates to achieve production goals and customer satisfaction.
• Follow OSHA regulations and MPW safety policies and procedures.
• Immediately communicate equipment, inventory, safety, or operational concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production and facility operations.
• Operate a tugger in support of production operations.
