Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Get tasks assigned by supervisor daily.
  • If no tasks are assigned, employee will be responsible for the daily clean up and upkeep of the facility.
  • Continuously clean up assigned plant areas including trash removal from trash receptacles to main dumpsters.
  • Assumption of daily housekeeping tasks as assigned.
  • Assistance in keeping building clean and in orderly condition by removing items from walkways, floors, etc.
  • Assistance in maintaining sidewalks and building entryways to keep clear of snow, ice, and debris as assigned.
  • Help keep yard clean and organized.
  • Assistance in other assignments throughout the facility such as general painting, grinding, processing, or other tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Answer radio calls, verbal calls, or requests/directives.
  • Sign-out any items as instructed by Logistics Manager. No material will be taken out of supply store without sign-out.
  • Employee will not be allowed to take any broken part form ANY employee to take to maintenance, etc., without a completely filled out maintenance tag (including readable printed name, date, problem, etc.), and will enlist supervisor to settle disagreements.
  • May be called by Logistics, Maintenance, Office or Production personnel to retrieve, distribute or move items throughout the facility.
  • May be assigned to dissemble and/or reassemble items as directed.
  • Will be stationed in all buildings as assigned per task.
  • Will work to make improvements in department or process and will communicate ideas and suggestions to supervisor and other decision-making personnel as appropriate.
  • Adhere to applicable procedures as defined in the company quality system.
  • Maintain documents according to QMP's (if required).
  • Be an example throughout the organization in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational, and work habits.
  • Support continual improvement projects.
  • Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
  • Support company policy and goals.
