Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, required.
  • Minimum of 1-years’ experience required, preferably in manufacturing
  • Understand and utilize the ERP system.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little oversight.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic working knowledge of computer data entry function preferred.
  • Must follow all safety guidelines.
  • Must be a capable forklift operator.
  • Familiar with PC computer systems.
  • Possess good organizational and administrative skills.
  • Eligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Materials group and Plant Supervision to ensure production inputs are available when needed.
  • Communicate cross functionally with production, quality, and purchasing departments regarding the status of product, tools and raw materials.
  • Effectively communicate product status, material movement timing, inventory metrics for tooling, raw material and skid or crates inventory.
  • Update tooling database as needed and assist production, planning and warehouse operators in locating materials and tooling.
  • Work with the Receiving Clerks for material movement between buildings.
  • Moves and organize materials into home storage location and complete ERP inventory move transactions.
  • Oversee inventory in the warehouses, ensuring proper location and accurate amounts, maintaining organization and warehouse storage space.
  • Provide status updates regarding inventory metrics for tooling and raw materials.
  • Safely operate the box truck and all types powered industrial trucks in the facility.
  • Verify purchase order quantities to the raw materials received.
