Production Support Technician
About The Position
TransMaster Trailers is seeking a Production Support Technician. This role is responsible for preparing cut parts for distribution to outsourcing facilities, loading and unloading materials, documenting production information, assisting in inventory management, and traveling to deliver or pick up products. The technician will collaborate with team members to meet production schedules, assist in setting up and operating machinery according to safety protocols, and maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area. Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent GED
- Forklift Operator experience/certification
- Overhead crane experience/certification
- Aerial lift experience/certification
- The ability to obtain a DOT medical Card
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred
- Basic understanding of fabrication machinery and processes
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to follow instructions and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Responsibilities
- Preparing cut parts for distribution to outsourcing facilities
- Loading and unloading materials for outsourcing partners
- Accurately documenting production information as necessary
- Assisting in inventory management and notifying the appropriate personnel of any shortages or damages of mechanically cut parts
- Travel, using company vehicles as necessary; to deliver and or pick up products going to and from customers and outsourcing partners and our facility
- Collaborating with other team members to meet production and outsourcing scheduling
- Assist in setting up and operating machinery, according to safety protocols
- Keeping the working area organized, safe, and clean
