About The Position

Make a Meaningful Impact As a Full-Time Production Support Specialist (DSP) at RTC Services, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on their journey toward employment readiness. You will provide person-centered guidance and hands-on assistance on the production floor, support the safe operation of machinery, and help maintain a safe, respectful, and productive environment. Using strong organizational and communication skills, you will prioritize tasks to help meet critical production goals while empowering the people we serve to build essential job skills, independence, and confidence in the workplace.

Requirements

18 years or older
High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities
Production experience

Responsibilities

Support and assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in developing employment-readiness skills and job skills.
Foster a supportive atmosphere that promotes independence, confidence, and workplace success.
Use Individual Service Plans (Ohio ISP) to provide personalized care and support.
Complete all required support-service documentation.
Prepare and maintain accurate reports, data, and records.
Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients, families, customers, and other collaborative partners.
If certified, perform delegated nursing tasks as needed.
Provide hands-on assistance with production activities and the simple operation of machinery.
Use a hand truck and/or forklift after completing the required training.
Organize and prioritize tasks to meet production goals.
Client's time worked and ISP documentation.
Supervise breaks and lunches.
Demonstrate compliance with applicable rules, standards, and Board policies and procedures.
Follow established safety rules designed to support compliance with Ohio Employment Risk Reduction Standards, Rules, and Orders, including the proper use of protective equipment and decontamination techniques.
Help maintain a safe and productive environment for the people we serve, coworkers, and customers.
