About The Position

The Airborne RF Electronics Electrical Engineering Department has an immediate need for a Production Support Electrical Engineer I. We are looking for candidates to collaborate and coordinate with our manufacturing facility, Program Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to proactively and efficiently resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration. This position will reside within the Processing Production Design Support section that supports the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) program.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
Experience with lab equipment, schematic drawings and CCA troubleshooting
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

Strong communication skills including report writing and presentations
Conduct failure investigations and provide recommendations to address systemic issues and to prevent recurrence
Experience with Manufacturing Engineering
Knowledge of LabVIEW, LUA, C, MATLAB, Python programming languages

Responsibilities

Ensure Special Test Equipment is always operable while improving test yield
Perform technical evaluations of hardware with the ability to categorize failures and systematically disposition failing hardware in a timely manner
Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities
Communicate to program leadership status updates of hardware failures
Ability to travel periodically to manufacturing facilities, suppliers, or customer sites to support production (up to 25%)
