Production Support - Casual Worker
About The Position
INX International is seeking a limited number of Casual Workers for its West Chicago facility. This role offers flexibility for individuals looking for supplemental income, such as stay-at-home parents or college students. The position involves assistive, routine, and manual tasks to support manufacturing, packaging, and shipping processes. Opportunities are available for 4 to 10 hours per shift, with up to 29 hours per week, and the ability to choose your own hours. Due to the nature of the work, employees may be asked to report to work on short notice. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to comprehend simple verbal/written instructions
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Basic math skills
- Common sense understanding to carry out detailed written, oral or diagram instructions
- Ability to stand and walk
- May need to stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Ability to use hands to handle or feel
- Ability to reach with hands or arms
- Ability to identify/quantify colors
- Close & color vision
- Depth perception & peripheral vision
- May lift up to 50 lbs
- Must pass post-offer, pre-employment drug screens, physicals, and background checks
Responsibilities
- Making boxes, labeling, packaging
- Cleaning, filing, and other non-skilled labor tasks
- Assisting in INX’s manufacturing, packaging, and shipping processes
