About The Position

We are looking for a talented Production Support Associate to join our 1st shift team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Plainfield, IN. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Ensuring Safety: By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you'll help maintain a safe work environment. Compliance and Reporting: Reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards ensures compliance with HSE standards and promotes a culture of safety. Environmental Stewardship: Recognizing how your work impacts the environment and working to minimize negative effects will contribute to sustainable practices. Quality Assurance: Performing quality inspections and raising concerns will help minimize costs and exposures, ensuring high standards are maintained. Process Improvement: Supporting continuous improvement activities will enhance quality, safety, and efficiency, benefiting both the process and employee development. Mentorship: Instructing and coaching others will foster a collaborative environment and help team members develop their skills. Operational Excellence: Applying Cummins Operating System (COS) practices and Operations Excellence (OE) methodology will drive performance and efficiency throughout the plant. Team Collaboration: Communicating effectively with your team and support teams will ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement in quality, safety, and processes.

Requirements

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Basic MS office knowledge.
Ability to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
