About The Position

The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising adults with disabilities working on the production floor in a manufacturing and assembly/packaging environment. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedure and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. The Supervisor may be responsible for supervising multiple production lines while achieving optimal performance of their assigned tasks; helping to solve problems; meeting quality and production standards and maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required.
Excellent communication verbal, written, and computer skills required.
Attention to detail required.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with people with disabilities or related experience desired.
Experience with Nulogy software preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides line set ups that best accommodates each employee and the product being run on a particular line while maintaining production efficiencies.
Meeting quality standards set forth by the Bill of Material (BOM) Specifications administered by Quality Control Personnel.
Enter labor electronically, production and quality data within our software system.
Train, coach, encourage and motivate employees and workers to efficiently perform their assigned tasks.
Provide protective oversight of employees through encouragement, moral support and patient direction.
Report any employee behaviors, incidents and/or accidents to Production Manager.
Maintain work area in a safe, clean and organized manner.
To comply with all SQF procedures and policies, and is responsible to report food safety problems.
Follow all policies and procedures established by Company.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and respect for individuals.
Other related duties as directed by management.
