Position Overview The Production Supervisor leads a team of manufacturing employees to ensure daily operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in full alignment with SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost) objectives. This role oversees scheduling, workflow, performance, and training while maintaining high product quality standards. The supervisor plays a critical role in coaching employees, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement. In this position, you directly influence SQDC results and support a culture of operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or quality.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment.
  • Strong decision‑making skills with sound judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and engage a diverse team.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities with the capacity to prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality when required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day‑to‑day assembly and production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Develop and manage daily work schedules, ensuring compliance with standard work procedures.
  • Monitor production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Train, develop, and evaluate team members through effective performance management and recognition.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
  • Hold employees accountable with timely coaching, feedback, and corrective action when necessary.
  • Communicate and enforce company policies, work practices, and procedures.
  • Identify and remove obstacles to performance using data‑driven problem-solving methods.
  • Champion and sustain continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
