The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in the manufacturing area, ensuring effective team management, operational efficiency, quality control, and adherence to safety standards. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a unionized manufacturing supervisory role.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage a team of manufacturing technicians and operators, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and performance discussions, providing guidance, support, and feedback.
  • Develop team members through targeted training programs and career development opportunities.
  • Oversee production processes to ensure timely execution and quality compliance.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement in efficiency and output.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and meet production targets.
  • Uphold all company safety protocols, conducting regular safety training and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Implement preventative measures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Champion initiatives aimed at process optimization, waste reduction, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control team to uphold product standards and address any quality issues.
  • Encourage a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation within the team.
