Directly supervise 20 - 25 manufacturing employees in the aerospace industry including CNC, EDM and Conventional Machining, GTAW Welding, Vacuum Furnace Heat Treating, Non-Destructive Testing, Inspection, Plasma and Thermal Coating processes. When required, overtime and weekend coverage to meet current business needs is expected. An ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree with 7 years of supervisory experience, or an Associate degree with 10 years of supervisory experience, or High school diploma with 15 years of supervisory experience in aerospace machining and/or manufacturing environment. An ideal candidate will possess the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry. In addition, has the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Intermediate computer skills required in MRP and Microsoft office software systems.
