The Shift Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily operations at the Solenis Tableting and Packaging facility. This includes supervision of maintenance, production, shipping/receiving, and material handling activities. The role ensures that production targets are achieved while maintaining strict adherence to safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma with relevant experience, or an Associate’s Degree in a related field
Willing to work 3rd shift (10:30 PM - 6:00 AM)
Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Equivalent combinations of technical education and experience will be considered
Strong knowledge of hazardous chemical handling, including: Proper inventory segregation requirements, Hazardous material packaging standards

Nice To Haves

Chemical plant experience preferred
Experience working with oxidizers (preferred)

Responsibilities

Enforce compliance with all safety, production, operational, and security procedures
Monitor production lines throughout the shift to ensure: Chemicals are packaged in the correct containers, Proper weights and specifications are maintained
Create, manage, and complete process orders within SAP
Conduct routine safety audits and inspections
Respond to emergencies during both working and non-working hours as needed
Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, ensuring proper documentation and corrective action
