The Shift Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily operations at the Solenis Tableting and Packaging facility. This includes supervision of maintenance, production, shipping/receiving, and material handling activities. The role ensures that production targets are achieved while maintaining strict adherence to safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma with relevant experience, or an Associate’s Degree in a related field
  • Willing to work 3rd shift (10:30 PM - 6:00 AM)
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Equivalent combinations of technical education and experience will be considered
  • Strong knowledge of hazardous chemical handling, including: Proper inventory segregation requirements, Hazardous material packaging standards

Nice To Haves

  • Chemical plant experience preferred
  • Experience working with oxidizers (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Enforce compliance with all safety, production, operational, and security procedures
  • Monitor production lines throughout the shift to ensure: Chemicals are packaged in the correct containers, Proper weights and specifications are maintained
  • Create, manage, and complete process orders within SAP
  • Conduct routine safety audits and inspections
  • Respond to emergencies during both working and non-working hours as needed
  • Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, ensuring proper documentation and corrective action
