About The Position

Agri-Mark/McCadam/Cabot Creamery is seeking a Plant Production Supervisor at its Middlebury, Vermont location. The supervisor has primary responsibility for either cheese production or whey production, with occasional coverage of other departments, and ensures production meets quality, volume, cost, and customer-specification standards. The role provides leadership to plant production employees and promotes a culture of ethics, integrity, safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous use of best practices. The typical schedule is a 12-hour overnight shift from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m., following a rotating four-days-on, four-days-off schedule. The schedule may change based on plant production needs. The pay range is $70,000–$85,000, depending on experience. Requirements

Three to five or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong leadership abilities.
Analytical, problem-solving, and continuous-improvement skills.
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
Solid knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety and Food Quality (SQF) programs.

Nice To Haves

An associate or bachelor's degree in a business or technical field, with experience in dairy manufacturing.
