Job Purpose & Scope As a Supervisor, Production at ROCKWOOL, you will play a key role in driving operational performance on the factory floor. You will lead your shift team to achieve excellence in safety, quality, and productivity, ensuring our customers receive world-class products while supporting continuous improvement and sustainable growth. This role is about leading people, optimizing processes, and making a direct impact on production outcomes in a global manufacturing environment. Join us and make a difference! The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 CAD. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions. Your future team: You will become part of the Plant Operations & Production team managing a team of 10-15 people and reporting to the Production Manager.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of experience as a Production Supervisor, must have leadership experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Technical qualification in mechanical/ electrical engineering or industrial technology (apprenticeship or vocational diploma).
  • Strong experience working with automated systems/conveyors.
  • Sound understanding or Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Strong experience with MS Office products, such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Project.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and develop Operators at all levels, fostering accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all activities meet health, safety, and environmental standards while promoting a zero-incident culture.
  • Oversee daily production schedules, ensuring products are manufactured on time, to specification, and within budget.
  • Monitor processes, resolve issues, and implement improvements to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct shift meetings, maintain records, and provide clear updates on performance, challenges, and solutions.
  • Partner with leadership to implement process improvements, training, and development initiatives that strengthen the team and operation.
