About The Position
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at our Brantford, Ontario bakery. As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality performance while leading and developing frontline teams to achieve operational goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–3 years of experience in food manufacturing or a related production environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Strong oral and written English communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Post-secondary education in business, food science, or a technical trade
- Experience supervising teams in a food production or manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards
- Experience with technical documentation and troubleshooting processes
Responsibilities
- Lead and engage production teams to achieve shift targets while maintaining a positive and productive work environment
- Drive safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all production activities
- Monitor performance and support employee development through coaching, feedback, and performance reviews
- Ensure consistent hygiene, safety, and housekeeping standards on the production floor
- Collaborate with operations, technical, and leadership teams to improve processes and line performance
- Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability
- Contribute technical input to standard work instructions and production documentation
