Production Supervisor I/II - Paso

Zone 5 Technologies•Paso Robles, CA
•$75,000 - $120,000

About The Position

Zone 5 Technologies is hiring Production Supervisor I and Production Supervisor II, Specialty Manufacturing roles to support manufacturing of unmanned aircraft systems. Both roles lead daily execution and frontline teams in an assigned production area, ensuring work is performed safely, to standard, on schedule, and with high quality. Supervisors coordinate labor and work priorities, monitor progress, address risks, develop team capability, and work closely with manufacturing managers, engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and operations teams. Production Supervisor I leads day-to-day execution in an assigned area, shift, or line, with situational hands-on involvement of approximately up to 50% for training, staffing gaps, critical build steps, and recovery situations. The supervisor is expected to stabilize and teach rather than become a routine production resource. The role also owns area safety execution, reinforces quality and workmanship standards, supports compliance and corrective actions, and promotes standard work and continuous improvement. Production Supervisor II leads a specialized, technically complex manufacturing area such as avionics, machining, composites, or other advanced production. In addition to floor leadership, the role provides domain-specific technical oversight, validates critical build steps, guides technical troubleshooting, and partners with Manufacturing Engineering on process improvements, yield, NPI, and design changes. It operates with greater autonomy and accountability for high-risk operations. Hands-on work is generally below 30% and focuses on technical coaching, troubleshooting, process validation, and abnormal recovery. The stated pay range is $75,000–$120,000 USD. Zone 5 Technologies offers a competitive total compensation package, benefit plan options, paid time off, sick time, and company holidays.
