About The Position

Raytheon is seeking a 4th shift Production Supervisor to support the Sensors High Mix and Effectors factories within their Circuit Card Manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for building and leading a manufacturing operations team of 10-20 assembly, inspection, and test employees. The supervisor will guide the team in a fast-paced environment to ensure products meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements through effective planning, organization, and direction of production flow. A key responsibility is maintaining a safe work environment and actively participating in safety improvement initiatives. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional and cross-shift teams to achieve organizational goals. The supervisor will also support the implementation of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools, and metrics to track progress, identify root causes of failures, production capacity, quality, and staffing issues, and develop/implement corrective action plans. Regular interaction with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and test engineering is expected. Achieving and exceeding cost, quality, delivery, and safety goals, along with identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, are critical performance criteria.

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.
  • Supervisory, Leadership and/or Manufacturing experience is required.
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing experience in the aerospace/defense industry.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or other similar process improvement methodologies.
  • Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access).
