About The Position

Bring your talent and leadership to Raytheon's Circuit Card Manufacturing factory. We have an opportunity for a 4th shift Production Supervisor supporting the Sensors High Mix and Effectors factories. This role will have overall responsibility for standing up and growing a manufacturing operations team consisting of 10-20 assembly, inspection, and test employees. This individual will lead a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to ensure products meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production. You will be responsible for a safe work environment and will actively lead and engage in safety improvement projects. You will engage in with a cross-functional and cross-shift team to meet organizational goals and objectives. In this role, you will support deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools and metrics to accurately measure progress, identify root causes of failure modes, production capacity, quality and staffing issues and develop/implement corrective action plans. This role requires regular interaction with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and test engineering. Achieving/exceeding cost, quality, delivery, safety goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using six sigma and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position. This role is 4th shift working, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6am - 6pm. Employee will work 40 hours/week around these core hours.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience .
  • Supervisory, Leadership and/or Manufacturing experience is required.
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance​
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.​

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing experience in the aerospace/defense industry.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or other similar process improvement methodologies.
  • Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access).
