We have a challenging and exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor who is energetic, can multi-task and problem solve, and has the drive and motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced setting in an expanding business. Primary Purpose: The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing and directing production activities within our manufacturing facility. Coordinates the production of goods, ensures machines are repaired and running smoothly, and manages staff on production lines and fabrication. Will provide technical and quality support to assure all manufactured products are built in compliance with required codes, specifications and most importantly, customer expectations.

Requirements

  • 3 years' experience in Production operations/processes (Process Improvement, LEAN, 5S, etc.)
  • Supervisory or Lead experience
  • Bi-lingual Spanish required

Responsibilities

  • Directs team members tasked with the assembly, testing, and packaging of manufactured products to meet daily production goals
  • Ensures that work activities proceed according to assembly instructions and parts lists, sub-assemblies, tools and materials for the current jobs
  • Verifies product is correctly assembled and meets specifications, per Work Instructions
  • Coordinates activities with other departments within the facility
  • Sets and meets production goals
  • Resolves assembly problems by troubleshooting issues to meet quality and demand; obtains additional resources as needed
  • Monitors, reviews, and reports production results to onsite management
  • Hires, trains and cross-trains personnel for maximum production flexibility
  • Supports onboarding and training of new personnel
  • Initiates and maintains a safe, clean work environment in compliance with company standards
  • Identifies and documents areas of improvement to boost quality and production efficiencies
  • Assist in other work areas, as needed, during absences/shortages of staff
