Responsibilities for Production Supervisor include but are not limited to: A commitment to Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Productivity through demonstrated integrity, and leadership within their work group. Overseeing the safe operations of manufacturing, shipping, and receiving of metal building components as prescribed by specifications and order releases. Familiarity of machinery and manufacturing processes for each line/department. Identifying process improvements that result in efficiency and cost savings. Communication within the division and buildings group to ensure solid teamwork and a productive work environment. Review teammate performance, determine coaching needs, set clear expectations, and provide regular feedback. Interviewing, hiring, development and accountability for teammates within the group. Travel with short notice. Commitment to living Nucor’s value’s and influencing teammates to do the same. Growth mindset and commitment to bettering department and division.
