Come join us and help us build for the future! This role is for a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor based at our facility in Jacksonville, TX. 3rd Shift hours: Monday - Thursday (6:30pm - 5:00am).

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Required
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Sheet Metal Manufacturing processes, Welding-Spot, MIG and TIG, Manual and CNC machines, Hand and Power tool use, Powder Coat Paint processes, reading custom work orders/Blueprints/drawings
Able to communicate in a positive and professional manner
Knowledge within MS Office Suite programs such as Excel, Work, Outlooks, and TEAMS
Knowledge of timekeeping programs
Experience using ERP programs such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
Must be U.S. Persons as defined by U.S. export control regulations (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))

Responsibilities

Provides day-to-day leadership and supervision to all shop employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment by planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and work conditions.
Responsible for all aspects of production including managing personnel, machines, and materials to execute production plans, control scrap, direct and indirect labor, and expenses.
Manages departmental performance, measures and provides regular progress reports.
Balances quality, productivity, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
Responsible for investigating accidents and provides corrective actions.
Responsible for providing employee training and development.
Responsible for evaluating employees’ performance.
Responsible for WIP levels and takes corrective actions.
Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor.
