Come join us and help us build for the future! This role is for a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor based at our facility in Jacksonville, TX. 3rd Shift hours: Monday - Thursday (6:30pm - 5:00am).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Sheet Metal Manufacturing processes, Welding-Spot, MIG and TIG, Manual and CNC machines, Hand and Power tool use, Powder Coat Paint processes, reading custom work orders/Blueprints/drawings
  • Able to communicate in a positive and professional manner
  • Knowledge within MS Office Suite programs such as Excel, Work, Outlooks, and TEAMS
  • Knowledge of timekeeping programs
  • Experience using ERP programs such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
  • Must be U.S. Persons as defined by U.S. export control regulations (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))

Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to-day leadership and supervision to all shop employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment by planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and work conditions.
  • Responsible for all aspects of production including managing personnel, machines, and materials to execute production plans, control scrap, direct and indirect labor, and expenses.
  • Manages departmental performance, measures and provides regular progress reports.
  • Balances quality, productivity, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
  • Responsible for investigating accidents and provides corrective actions.
  • Responsible for providing employee training and development.
  • Responsible for evaluating employees’ performance.
  • Responsible for WIP levels and takes corrective actions.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor.
