About The Position

The Production Supervisor oversees production personnel and daily manufacturing activities. The role supports employee-related processes, coordinates operator orientation and training, and works with the Production Manager to schedule and coordinate manufacturing work and resolve production issues. The supervisor also helps ensure production activities comply with cGMPs, standard procedures, and company safety policies, and works with Quality Assurance on quality issues, investigations, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production personnel, including recordkeeping, reviewing, motivating, and coaching employees, and working with Human Resources on hiring, counseling, termination, and other employee-related issues.
• Perform all responsibilities of Production Operators and the Lead Production Operator.
• Coordinate and supervise new Production Operator orientation and overall training.
• Work with the Production Manager to schedule and coordinate manufacturing activities.
• Supervise daily production manufacturing activities.
• Work with the Production Manager to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Alert the QA department to quality issues, assist with QA investigations, and coordinate implementation of QA corrective actions or recommendations.
• Ensure production activities follow cGMPs and standard procedures.
• Ensure production activities follow company safety policies.
• Review production batch records and logs.
