About The Position

UCT is hiring a 3rd-shift Production Supervisor in Phoenix, Arizona, for its Service Division, which delivers critical cleaning and contamination-control solutions to the semiconductor industry. The supervisor oversees all aspects of production operations within the assigned facility and works hands-on in the production area, spending approximately 90% of the day on the production floor. The role supervises production personnel delivering parts cleaning, etching, and other specialized processes, while supporting safe, high-quality, efficient service and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Experience with quality control and process-improvement methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp.
• Ability to stand for sustained periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to move arms, hands, and fingers; talking on the phone and using a computer for extended periods may be required.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment where applicable.

Nice To Haves

• Production or manufacturing experience in parts-cleaning services or a high-tech industry.
• Supervisory experience in parts cleaning or a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production personnel performing parts cleaning, etching, and other specialized processes.
• Develop and manage work schedules to ensure on-time delivery and meet customer expectations.
• Hire, train, and develop staff members.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including training and quality-control documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in coordination with engineering, quality, and other teams.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment in accordance with UCT safety and quality standards.
• Manage and improve processes to meet efficiency, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support seamless service delivery.
• Participate in continuous-improvement initiatives to enhance processes and operations.
