About The Position

The Production Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. The role requires an essential understanding and control of the production process, accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing. The supervisor oversees production operations and personnel, promotes safety and quality, and supports Team Members through communication, training, encouragement, and counseling. The position is based in Albertville, Alabama, on first shift, and includes 1–5 trips per year. Relocation assistance is eligible. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

High school diploma.
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills.
Basic computer skills are helpful.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willingness to travel 1–5 trips per year.

Nice To Haves

Education beyond high school, including special training, vocational school, and/or college courses.
Prior supervisory experience.
Poultry experience.
Experience with SAP.
A resume in PDF or Word format and/or a completed application showing current and past work experience is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

Check daily production orders to ensure customer orders are fulfilled.
Ensure every position is filled before the production line starts.
Oversee Team Member morning exercises and job rotation to facilitate ergonomics.
Ensure machinery is performing to the highest standard possible.
Ensure all workstations have passed USDA inspection.
Promote safety daily and through monthly safety meetings.
Ensure accurate shipments, inventory rotation, and product coding.
Know and communicate company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members.
Encourage Team Members and help build an effective team.
Perform human relations functions, including training and retaining personnel and counseling Team Members on personal and professional problems.
Oversee processing operations and work with other supervisors to solve problems.
Keep records of reworked or returned product.
Provide ongoing education about the importance of quality.
Perform other responsibilities as needed.
Demonstrate responsible use of approved AI tools, safeguard sensitive information, follow company policies, validate AI-generated outputs, and support responsible AI adoption and accountability for AI-supported outcomes.
