About The Position

The SAW Module Fab Value Stream has an opportunity for a 2nd shift Production Supervisor to join the Microelectronics Operations Team. This position has responsibility for the manufacturing operation team in a fast paced, multi-shift, high mix/low volume environment that produces products using cutting edge technologies. The Production Supervisor ensures that all products meet contractual quality, cost, and schedule requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production while maintaining a safe work environment. The position is responsible for the effective execution of the manufacturing operations strategy, using the available control systems, tools and metrics to accurately measure progress, identify root causes of failure modes, assess production capacity, resolve quality and staffing issues and develop/implement corrective action plans.

Requirements

  • Typically requires university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of experience.
  • Supervisory, Leadership and/or Manufacturing experience is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with microelectronics fabrication with the ability to operate within a clean room environment.
  • Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Previous leadership and management experience in manufacturing or similar environments with managing high mix/low volume manufacturing lines.
  • Experience utilizing business systems and tools that aid in managing labor, processes, and budgets.
