About The Position

Join our dynamic team as a Production Supervisor, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production workshop. You'll be at the forefront of maintaining high standards, meeting production deadlines, and driving your team's productivity. This is your chance to lead with impact, fostering a safe and supportive environment while optimizing resources. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 12:30 am to 7:30 am.

Requirements

• College or university degree in operations management or related field.
• 5-8 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a unionized environment.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in French (oral and written) and working knowledge of English.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Lean 6-Sigma certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and align workshop activities with production plans.
• Actively participate in daily production reviews and report progress.
• Manage attendance and ensure fair application of collective agreements.

• Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
