About The Position

This role is responsible for managing production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. The Production Supervisor will oversee daily activities, implement process improvements, and lead a team to achieve departmental goals. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 2 years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

Review production orders and schedules to plan department operations based on product data, quantities, and delivery dates.
Coordinate assembly activities and prepare operational schedules to meet product specifications and quality goals.
Analyze operating reports and resolve maintenance or operational issues to minimize costs and prevent delays.
Ensure efficient utilization of materials and eliminate wasteful practices to maintain economical operations.
Interface with cross-functional departments to ensure all customer order deadlines are met.
Develop and revise standard operational procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and best practices.
Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
Assist the Production Manager with continuous improvement initiatives, including 5s and FIFO implementation.
Suggest changes in working conditions and equipment use to increase efficiency and improve ergonomics.
Establish performance goals, conduct evaluations, and manage on-the-job training for safety, quality, and efficiency.
Manage employee attendance, review weekly schedules, and work with HR to resolve grievances.
Maintain a positive team spirit and ensure adherence to company policies and housekeeping practices.
Compile, store, and retrieve necessary production data and report KPIs.
Respond promptly to internal and external customer inquiries.
