About The Position

The Manufacturing Production Supervisor oversees daily production-floor operations to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and productivity. The role supervises production workers, coordinates workflow, monitors performance, and ensures production goals and standards are met. The supervisor collaborates with quality control, maintenance, and engineering to resolve production issues and leads continuous improvement and safety efforts.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong understanding of production workflows, lean manufacturing, and quality systems.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documents.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software such as ERP/MRP systems.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a factory environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
May need to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends, depending on production needs.

Nice To Haves

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Supervise, lead, and coordinate production team members.
Ensure production schedules are met and adjust workloads as needed to meet targets.
Monitor product quality, process efficiency, and compliance with safety and company policies.
Train and mentor production staff and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Collaborate with quality control, maintenance, and engineering to resolve production issues.
Maintain production records and reports, including shift logs, downtime reports, and incident documentation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
Enforce health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving for process or product issues.
Manage employee attendance, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
