About The Position

The Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operation, assign proactive and reactive work and follow up on the floor with Workcell Coaches, Process Tech Leads and Mixing Leads. The Supervisor has overall responsibility for the operations of the Production floor and may require escalation of issues to other supporting departments (i.e. Maintenance and Automation, Tool Room). This position will report directly to the Production Manager.

Requirements

  • While performing the duties, the employee will be working in an office environment as well as on the manufacturing plant floor.
  • The employee is required to sit and/or stand for computer or floor responsibilities, reach with hands and arms and handle objects and other tools, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull, maintain balance, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distances, and climb stairs.
  • Employees may be required to lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet established schedules and quality standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate production team members to achieve operational excellence and maintain high morale.
  • Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain workflow continuity.
  • Collaborate with quality control, maintenance, and supply chain teams to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
  • Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on performance metrics and operational challenges.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve workplace safety.
  • Supports a culture where employees address unsafe conditions and behaviors, make suggestions for improvements, and actively participates in implementing solutions
  • Identifies safety gaps and self-initiates corrective actions
  • Strictly adheres to plant safety, housekeeping, and 5S efforts
  • Understands, identifies, and corrects safety hazards
  • Drives a culture which empowers employees to understand and embrace what they own
  • Monitors and verifies activities to ensure that finished goods and raw materials are coming in and out of the facility meet consumer safety and quality standards.
  • Complies with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures
  • Reports any product or process failures that could impact food safety of manufactured products to the location’s Food Safety Team Leader and submits an appropriate incident report
