About The Position
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will supervise and coordinate the activities of the departmental processes and personnel within the assigned manufacturing function.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 5 years of manufacturing experience
- 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in a business or technical field related to manufacturing
- Experience with JIT production system
- Experience with TPM
- Experience with Kaizen implementation
Responsibilities
- Supervises the process and all employees in the department.
- Schedules the workload for all employees in the department.
- Ensures manufacturing process in the department meets all production and quality requirements.
- Performs recordkeeping for various aspects of the manufacturing process, as required.
- Addresses all production emergencies and any requests from other department supervisors in a responsible and professional manner.
- Monitors safety within the department on a continual basis, and holds monthly safety meetings with employees.
