About The Position
Axalta is seeking a Production Supervisor for its facility in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and consistent execution of daily manufacturing operations within their assigned area. The Production Supervisor leads front-line employees, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivers performance against production, cost, and delivery targets. This role serves as the primary link between management and hourly employees, driving accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Requirements

- Experience executing production plans and meeting operational goals.
- Understanding of quality systems, process controls, and continuous improvement principles.

- Strong coaching, accountability, and team-building skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across shifts and departments.
- Ability to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive sustainable improvements.

Responsibilities
- Lead daily shift operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and schedule attainment.
- Enforce safety policies, housekeeping standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps.
- Ensure adherence to standard work, operating procedures, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate staffing, work assignments, and shift coverage to meet production needs.
- Identify and escalate operational, safety, quality, and equipment concerns.
- Lead shift handoffs, team meetings, and daily communication activities.
- Train, coach, and develop employees to improve performance and skills.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, problem-solving efforts, and process optimization.
- Maintain accurate production, inventory, and operational records.
