About The Position

The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring production lines run efficiently, maintaining product quality parameters, and overseeing daily housekeeping for the shift. This role requires a continuous improvement mindset and adherence to plant Good Manufacturing Processes. The supervisor will also be involved in safety audits, monitoring food safety and quality plan requirements, and reporting any related issues to management. Additionally, the position involves project work, including timely completion of objectives and daily reporting, as well as managing line start-ups and shutdowns.

Requirements

4-year degree in Food Science, Management Supervision, or FMO (Food Manufacturing Organization)
1-2 years Supervisory experience
Computer proficient – MS Office
Technical knowledge of food related equipment
Excellent Communication skills – written & verbal
Independent thinking with the ability to make decisions quickly
Sense of urgency coupled with the ability to proactively solve problems
Must display initiative and ingenuity
On the job training regarding Training by HACCP Coordinator
Teamwork

Nice To Haves

3-5 years in Food Manufacturing or related industry preferred
