Requirements

Ability to interact with team members and department heads with candor, tact, patience, and diplomacy
Knowledge and demonstrated experience of prioritization and time management techniques

Knowledge and demonstrated experience of good leadership practices

Nice To Haves

Associates degree or accredited leadership certification(s) preferred
1-2 years of supervisor or leadership experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for enforcement of all company factory rules, policies, and all applicable safety requirements.
Address team member performance issues and apply the Klauer progressive discipline process consistently with the support of Human Resources.
Use metrics and root cause analysis to identify and establish improvement initiatives.
Monitor the production and shipping schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
Use lean manufacturing tools to reduce setups, cycle times, scrap, and work in process inventory.
Review production schedules and process flows to objectively evaluate obstacles preventing product delivery including monitoring internal lead times.
Other related duties as assigned.
