About The Position

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our evening shift team. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this is an opportunity to apply your leadership in assembly and production operations to a space where every project matters. You will manage day-to-day production operations by following plant policies, procedures, and processes and inspire and guide the work of a team. This job posting is for an existing vacancy and is a full-time role, working in our facility in Scarborough.

Requirements

The experience. You bring operations leadership, ideally in a manufacturing or assembly environment. You have supervisory experience managing large teams and understand core manufacturing principles, including metrics management, capacity planning, financial budgeting, labour planning, scheduling, material flow, inventory management, lead time, and waste reduction. You are familiar with health and safety regulations.
The technical knowledge. You may have exposure to Lean Six Sigma methodologies and an understanding of mechanics. The ability to interpret technical drawings is considered a strong asset.
The leadership. You have the confidence to make thoughtful decisions and the ability to build trust with labourers, peers, and senior leadership. You can influence and motivate a team, mentor future leaders, and consistently deliver on KPIs.
The collaboration. You bring strong persuasion and relationship-building skills. You know how to partner with cross-functional teams and management to ensure shared goals are met.
The flexibility. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with seasonal demands and occasional night shifts during peak production times.
