About The Position

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor monitors and improves the efficiency, quality, and timeliness of factory operations. The role works closely with departmental supervisors to optimize production workflows, improve workforce productivity, reduce errors and material waste, and implement standardized procedures to enhance overall factory performance.

The Production Supervisor monitors production quality and compliance with specifications, identifies recurring defects and inefficiencies, and establishes procedures and quality checkpoints to improve consistency. The role also supports workforce productivity, training, departmental coordination, performance monitoring, workplace organization, and compliance with safety procedures.

Requirements

• BT, TS, or equivalent technical diploma from a technical school or vocational training institution in Industrial Mechanics, Production, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum experience in a manufacturing or production environment; the number of years is not specified.
• Good understanding of production workflows, quality control, work procedures, and manufacturing methods.
• Ability to identify production problems, propose practical solutions, and follow through on their implementation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in furniture manufacturing, woodworking, or a similar industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with departmental supervisors to monitor workforce productivity, allocate workloads effectively, and address operational challenges.
• Identify training needs and improve employees' adherence to production procedures, quality standards, and safety practices.
• Promote effective communication, coordination, and accountability across production departments.
• Work with departmental supervisors to improve workload distribution, workforce efficiency, and adherence to production procedures.
• Support the implementation of better working methods.
• Promote an organized, clean, and efficient production environment while ensuring compliance with established safety procedures.
