About The Position

This person will provide day-to-day leadership and supervision in the achievement of productivity, schedule attainment, quality, and Employee Health & Safety programs. The role involves coaching and supporting the area of responsibility, daily communication and coordination with teams, other supervisors, and departments. The supervisor will direct work assignments in accordance with the production schedule, planning and organizing activities of the production/assembly line to meet production deadlines. Responsibilities also include monitoring housekeeping (5 pillars), correcting safety issues, and ensuring compliance to environmental, productivity, quality, and health & safety standards. The role requires identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects, preparing and adhering to department budgets, enforcing policies and procedures, and applying disciplinary action as needed. Additionally, the supervisor will prepare and maintain production reports and records, taking corrective action when necessary, coordinating departmental maintenance and engineering needs, and being responsible for inventory analysis. Ordering and purchasing necessary equipment or materials for assembly or production is also part of the role. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

3-5 years experience with production supervision
2 years of industry experience
Outstanding leadership, influence and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements in a team environment
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple operations
High integrity

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in BS Mechanical or other technical engineering degree is desired

Responsibilities
