  • 3+ years of formal team leadership experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, operations management, or math discipline.
  • 3+ years managing production teams in a semiconductor back-end cleanroom environment (NPI/ Assembly & Test experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S/6S, Six Sigma (DMAIC), SPC, FMEA, and Theory of Constraints (TOC).
  • Experience with flight-quality or high-reliability hardware in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (ASQ preferred).
  • Experience in low-mix, high-volume manufacturing under ISO9001 or AS9100.
  • Proficient with MS Office, ERP/MRP systems; Power BI and SQL experience is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of manufacturing specialists, technicians, and equipment maintenance personnel accountable for process development, product qualification, reliability, and high-volume ramp of silicon packages and flight/consumer hardware.
  • Own safety performance, ensuring all team members receive required Environmental, Health & Safety training and strictly follow safety policies.
  • Develop and mentor team members through training, performance management, career progression, hiring, and discipline.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and other tools to eliminate waste, reduce cycle time, lower costs, and improve throughput and quality.
  • Develop and execute daily production plans, prioritizing work based on customer commitments, manpower, equipment capacity, and material availability.
  • Analyze production data, resolve operational issues, and lead root cause analysis (5Why, 8D, A3) and corrective actions to maintain quality and meet customer requirements.
  • Partner with engineering and process leaders on design for manufacturability, process standardization, and variation reduction.
  • Act as the primary technical decision-maker for the team on production, efficiency, and personnel matters.
