About The Position

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating daily manufacturing operations within an assigned production department. This role ensures efficient production, high-quality output, and adherence to safety standards while driving continuous improvement and supporting team development. This position provides hand-on leadership either directly or through front-line supervisors.

Requirements

Associate degree in a technical or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment required.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to follow instructions and resolve routine operational challenges.
Basic to intermediate proficiency with business systems and software applications.

Responsibilities

Review and explain production schedules / goals and work orders to determine product specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines.
Plan and prioritize production activities to meet customer requirements and business goals.
Coordinate daily manufacturing operations to meet customer requirements and business goals.
Monitor production performance and analyze reports to identify issues, improve processes, and reduce costs.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational, manufacturing, and equipment related challenges to minimize down time.
Entering Engineering Changes (ECs) is mandatory.
Inspect equipment and processes to ensure optimal performance and utilization. Able to product low DPU machines.
Develop, update, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Ensure team adherence to production standards, quality expectations and company policies.
Partner with HR or leadership to address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues.
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all safety requirements.
Lead and manage production teams within the assigned department.
Provide directions, coaching, and support to employees and/or front-line supervisors.
Plan, assign, and oversee daily work activities to meet production targets.
Applies job knowledge effectively and shares expertise with team members.
Support employee training and development to build skills and capabilities.
Address performance issues, recognize achievements, and foster accountability.
Ensure all activities aligned with company policies and applicable laws.
Add attendance log upkeep
Machine operation upkeep
Ensure Toolbox Talks are held and properly conducted
