Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor at FreshRealm will be responsible for overseeing daily plant operations, ensuring production, safety, and food safety objectives are met. This role involves working in a department that provides quality perishable and grocery products to the pick lines. The supervisor will communicate any issues to the APM, work with Quality Engineers to ensure accuracy, and ensure customer orders are fulfilled within specifications. They will also be responsible for training and motivating production personnel, as well as managing related personnel actions.

• Adhere to and enforce ALL GMP and FreshRealm SOPs
• Aid and direct fulfillment and/or sanitation personnel
• Communicate any issues that occur to the APM
• Work with the Quality Engineers to ensure quality and accuracy
• Oversee production operations ensuring quality and adherence to production specifications
• Demonstrate leadership to production supervisors and hourly employees
• Ensure fulfillment of customer orders within specifications
• Responsible for clean up and preparation for shift-to-shift operations
• Maintain effective communication of expectations and goals throughout the plant environment
• Ensure effective and efficient production staff deployment
• Organize, identify skills, train, and motivate production personnel
• Direct all related personnel actions, including training, performance appraisal, discipline, and safety
• Plan and prioritize workload to ensure department needs are met

• Accurate and timely completion of Warehouse/Transportation Department-related functions and assignments
• Maintenance of order selection performance standards of speed and accuracy with minimum damage
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a related role
• Experience in a leadership role for the food production or food processing industry
• Experience in food manufacturing processes and working with related production equipment
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and/or alien authorized to work in the US on an unlimited basis
