About The Position

Production staff performs a variety of tasks related to manufacturing products at Florida Paints’ plant. The role includes operating production equipment, receiving orders, verifying the accuracy of products being produced, reporting problems to the Plant Manager or Supervisor, and completing other production and warehouse tasks as needed. Staff may also use lifting equipment and forklifts to handle raw materials and prepare goods for shipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Must be able to lift 50 to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a hot warehouse environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record if making deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Feed raw materials into production machinery.
• Label, fill, and stack products on pallets.
• Store goods and raw materials properly in the warehouse.
• Use lifting equipment and forklift trucks to move raw materials.
• Pack goods for shipment.
• Maintain work areas and equipment.
• Immediately report equipment problems or issues to the Plant Manager or Supervisor.
• Participate in required safety training and certification classes.
• Complete other miscellaneous tasks as required.
