Production Staff for School of Performing and Visual Arts
About The Position
The Production Staff position supports production needs in the School of Performing and Visual Arts. Work may involve stage management, production management, technical direction, lighting design, sound design, costume design, musical direction and accompaniment, choreography and movement, gallery installation, exhibition support, and other artistic or performance mediums and skills. Positions are available as needed during the production season. The successful candidate works in a specific role in the artistic education and production process under the direction of regular faculty or staff. They attend required meetings and rehearsals, complete assigned tasks efficiently and on time, collaborate in the artistic education and production process, and respond promptly to faculty and staff communications.
Requirements
- Experience in specific areas of the artistic education and production process.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the practical application of specific skills, including management, design, performance, or installation.
- Knowledge of relevant equipment in the production area, such as light boards, sewing machines, or scene shop tools.
